Before visiting South Korea to attend the 16th IC-UEBA 2025, please review the visa requirements based on your nationality and make sure to obtain a valid visa, if applicable.
Visa Requirements
South Korea offers visa exemptions or simplified visa processes for visitors from several countries. To verify whether you are eligible for the visa exemption program or if you require a visa, please visit the Korea Visa Portal or contact the nearest South Korean embassy or consulate for detailed information.
If your country is not eligible for the visa exemption, you will need to apply for a visa. Please see the information below regarding visa application procedures.
Visa Application
For foreign nationals who require a visa to enter South Korea, the following documents are generally needed:
- A completed visa application form
- A valid passport (with at least six months of validity from the date of entry)
- One recent passport-sized photo
- Flight itinerary (incoming and outgoing travel tickets)
- Documents verifying the purpose of visit (e.g., conference registration confirmation, invitation letter from IC-UEBA 2025)
- Any additional documents required by the specific South Korean consulate or embassy
Please submit your application to the South Korean embassy or consulate in your country of residence. Processing times may vary, so it is recommended to begin the visa application process at least two to three months prior to your planned travel date.
For more information or to download the visa application form, visit the Korean Embassy and Consulate website.
Invitation Letters
IMPORTANT
Visa invitation letters will only be issued to registered participants who have paid the conference registration fees in full.
If you require an invitation letter for your visa application, please complete your conference registration first. Once your registration is confirmed, you may request an invitation letter through the IC-UEBA 2025 registration portal. The invitation letter will be sent to you via email as a PDF document.
Note
The conference organizers cannot contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office on behalf of participants. It is the responsibility of each attendee to ensure they meet the entry requirements of South Korea and allow sufficient time for the visa application process.
